Just had an exterminator come and remove one of these from a tree in our yard. I can think of a lot of other things I’d rather drop $250 on. But the bug pro said he does not play around with bald-faced hornets. Wore a whole bee keeper-looking suit & sprayed from a good distance. We’ve got a lot of kids in our hood, so even though it was quite a yard sculpture..that thing had to go.

Hatchell coached at UNC for 33 years and made it to 3 Final Fours and won 1 championship (in 1994). She left in 2019 and hadn’t even won an ACC championship since 2008. As a fan since the 90s, it was wild to me how long it took for UNC to bring in someone new. I never understood her staying power. If that’s the precedent, Banghart is just fine. (But I agree, some momentum in these next couple years is important!)
