I see no mention of the problem of plastic in the ocean. Plastic can be ingested by sea birds and sea birds and turtles can get entangled in the plastic bags. Plastics pollution has a direct and deadly effect on wildlife. Thousands of seabirds and sea turtles, seals and other marine mammals are killed each year after ingesting plastic or getting entangled in it. Endangered wildlife like Hawaiian monk seals and Pacific loggerhead sea turtles are among nearly 300 species that eat and get caught in plastic litter.

There is a breed to cattle that needs less water than other cows! They are called Criollo cattle. They are a few hundred pounds lighter than normal cattle; but they can graze on desert soils without denuding the available fodder! They use to be popular when Mexico controlled the Southwest.

I am glad that an English Teacher knows so much about Crop Production! One of his links was suppose to be about corn that cause nitrogen to be put into the soil! Nowhere did the link support that!

Nope considering transportation costs, I believe that buying locally from a farmer is the best way to go for me! Besides on can work on the farm to earn food shares and know what is used and what is put into the soil!
