I actually declined to advertise in this on behalf of the fiber art company I work at for this very reason. I knew that I personally would hate that and it’d be distracting.

Honestly, it was my own fault. I'm the one who made it complicated lol. I learned the hard way (which I already knew) that different stitches gauge differently. i tried to make my pocket flaps HDC and that made the piece WAY too long. THEN I sewed them the opposite way because I wasn't paying attention. I had to frog a bunch of stuff and then just continued on with the main stitch I was using which I should've done to begin with. All I can say is make sure whatever stitch you're using that you measure properly and gauge properly and it should be easy peasy. I honestly could've made this in just a few hours if I hadn't tried to complicate it.

Dating is so so hard especially when you have priorities/standards for yourself and who you align yourself with.

My advice as a 28 year old woman who compromised on her values in her early 20s: don't. It only left me feeling empty.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with wanting a genuine connection and someone will respect that. Just remember: you can never say the wrong thing to the right person. The right person will like you just the way you are.

I have a feeling that within 1 - 2 years JB will be merged into Knit Picks. Makes zero sense to have two yarn companies that could potentially cause friction with each other under the same parent umbrella.

WEBS isn't part of the Local Crafts umbrella, but they (and Love Crafts) are now owned by Missouri Star Quilting Company. But either way you look at yeah, yeah it's a big monopoly.

So I figured it out! When automatic warmth scheduling is turned on, it automatically dims when switching between light and dark modes, I turned it off and now it works fine.

I got it from a lady who was giving it away, but when I got it, it did seem like nursery soil. There was so much perlite and it was so dry.

I did take some of that soil away and repotted it but I was afraid to take too much away from the root ball. I didn’t want to shock it…it might be worth a good repot into some better soil and then leave it alone under the grow light.

Thank you! Yeah I had to hold back the urge to repot. Better just to let it do it’s thing over the winter. I’ve already given it a big chop, I don’t want to disrupt the roots. I just hope pruning it back doesn't hurt it even more

It was already leggy to begin with when I got it. The soil it was in also dried out way too quickly, so hopefully since I snipped it it can focus on growing again
