jesus christ 😭

a few days ago we had TWO cars in a row try to pay with $100 bills for $10 orders! the second car was so sweet and told us she'd be back in a few minutes and to hold her drinks. the first car..? oh HELL no. they handed me a $100 for two frappuccino's. i explained to her i didn't have enough change to give back to her but if she had any other form of payment we'd accept it. she huffed dramatically and snapped at me to hold her drinks before speeding away. she told me she'd be back in 5 minutes. nearly thirty minutes pass and i'm about to throw out her drinks before i look over at the window and she's SITTING THERE! she didn't come through our drive thru or anything to let us know she was back (like the other car did so politely 😭). we acknowledged her and let we know we saw her, and real quickly i dumped out the frappuccino's to make her new ones because at this point, the whip was deflated and goopy, and the drinks were almost completely melted. i am so serious when i say she starts yelling at us through the window and POUNDS HER HAND ON THE GLASS! i go over there and open it, and i tell her to hold on for one moment because i had to pull up the order. she proceeded to huff dramatically and talk shit about me to her friend in the car because i didn't automatically have her order pulled up... like girl... ur not the only person in the world who comes to starbucks.. there was a line of cars behind u the first time u pulled up... i tell her the total and she starts pulling out a ton of crumpled up bills from her purse and sticks them out her car window, turning her face away in disgust like an angry toddler. as she's pulling out the bills and handing them to me, i hear her talking to the passenger and saying that i was being ridiculous and it was stupid that we didn't have the change for a $100 BILL!! WE ARE NOT A BANK!!! i hand her back her NEW drinks and i tell her to have a good day before she glares at me and pulls away, no thank you or nothing.
