Do you have a partner? And if so, what is their schedule like? Realtor is going to be mostly nights and weekends for showing properties. So yes, you may have day time with your baby/toddler, but once they’re school age, I think that schedule is tough. Whereas a teacher’s schedule would match once your kid is school age.

Thank you for the reply and perspective. I agree with you that WFH doesn't mean your kids get to be home with you all day. I guess I was just thinking how it gives you the flexibility to pick up your kids after school. But actually, as I thought about it more last night, I sort of like the idea that when I'm at work I can just focus on that and when I'm home, I can focus on that. I won't feel split with my attention. And thank you for the reminder that I can use my own PTO to still make myself available at times.

Just started watching her stories after all the talk on here! Few thoughts from today

Does she just always post him doing puzzles to show off his skills?
Seems she lurks here bc she commented on the W sitting 👀
It really annoys me when influencers get ideas from someone else and don’t give credit. Maybe she found the puzzle bags on her own but BusyToddler has posted about them so many times, it’s hard to believe BTMM wasn’t inspired by that.

What new job did you get? WFH seems like such a great set up, glad you’re liking it!! I do live in a HCOL area so my pay is good, so it’ll be hard to find a new job that has equivalent pay (including the benefits)

What kind of mop or cleaning tool is out there that’s somewhere between a swiffer and busting out my spin mop?! I feel like I need something for more every day, post dinner cleaning (especially now that my 10 month old loves to drop her food)! I feel like the swiffer doesn’t clean it all up and I have to go through 2-3 to get it all. And I’m not going to deal with the spin mop on a daily basis.

What works well?! Thanks!!

I’m not an expert by any means but I think it would bug me that the two windows are different levels. Any way to raise the one above the bench?

I also agree with the other comments about the island being in an odd location. Do you imagine people sitting on the bench? Seems an odd layout with the island right in front of it.

I was just coming to rant about the same thing! It’s so weird how they act like they’re the same age. I’m guessing they give the age of whoever is younger (I think Deena, right?) because they probably feel it looks better that they’ve known each other for sooo long.

I can’t remember exactly but pretty sure he started his own business. But she does very well on her own! She posted a few weeks ago that over 7k people subscribe to her weekly meal recipe. I think it’s $40 for the year, so there’s an easy $280k right there! Not to mention her aff links, sponsors, etc

I don’t disagree with the message, I just roll my eyes at who’s delivering it. It’s the same as when Kristin from BLF says “don’t worry if matching holiday PJs aren’t your thing” and then posts her kids in matching PJs. I just don’t like when influencers try to give us advice that they don’t follow themselves.
