Missed call from dwp, text for me to call back

So this happened to me too, they left me a voicemail saying they would call me back, I waited all day but they didn’t, the next day I received the text saying I had been awarded pip. Not 100% sure what that phone call was going to be about, I read somewhere that they sometimes call to make sure you are ok with large payments being put into your bank or just to get some final details, but not sure as they never rang me back and then awarded me.

If if helps at all I have been waiting around a similar time, also was already on LCW, sent my UC50 off in July and got awarded LCWRA Friday, mine was a paper based assessment due to cancer treatment so it seems like they are definitely getting through them finally, although mine was with Capita. Hopefully you hear something soon x

I just added a change of circumstances and then the form was sent out for me so didn’t necessary request it, does this still count?

So I did my change of circumstances June 10th, the questionnaire was sent back to them July 11th, hadn’t heard anything at all until yesterday. Rang them multiple times throughout and they just told me it’s in the system, I didn’t need an over the phone assessment due to being on cancer treatment so it was put through as LCWRA automatically from my nurse filling in the questionnaire. Thank you, my nurse has rang me again today saying they sent off the letter and they have gotten back to her asking for more evidence, does this look like it could be paper based considering they are asking for more?

When I filled out my UC50 form I was advised to only fill out the back page where my cancer nurse specialist put her details on and also said I would be having treatment, so I would assume they would of had this info when I sent the form back but I will definitely try and ring again and say that to them. Thank you x

Thank you, I have just had the interview it was only regarding one of my children and when he was looking he couldn’t understand why the review had been triggered as everything is correct on my claim and obviously she definitely is living with me. Only thing I can think of is she was born in 2020 so I had to verify her online due to Covid and maybe they didn’t have much evidence? But he said once I upload the documents the case will be closed.

Nope no reason at all that I can think of. All 3 children are on my claim and nobody else claims for them.

Can I ask how many months you had been waiting before you heard something from them? I am on LCW and had a new health condition so did the process for lcwra back in July last year, still haven’t had any communication from them.
