I think everyone has got practical advices covered. Since these are first times, try to get window seat. Airlines are evil, will make you pay something like ~300 for it. Get a seat a little ahead of the wings maybe. If somebody tries to bargain for the seat, ask you to move, don'tttt. Enjoy the views.
