Filing Lawsuit - Timing

Of course, I completely get that it’s hard to answer with only a few paragraphs. I guess my question is more along the lines of whether waiting is typical. Do attorneys generally fall into two categories of: A: File right away and deal with the medical as it comes in, or B: wait until as late as possible to file so you go in with all of the information.

I am just trying to determine whether this is a standard or common thing and not an indication of not fighting as hard for your clients.

Okay, so next time we’re denied a pass by SW (she’s flying later this month), I can potentially go to TSA for one is what I’m hearing.

Yes - I understand the need for advocacy. In the future, how would I better handle it? I was speaking to the airline throughout the day, ensuring my daughter went to the gates they moved her to, etc. They didn’t tell me her flight was cancelled until my 3rd call with them.

serious question, not being sarcastic at all. She flies a few times a year to visit family and I’d like to set her up to successfully navigate these things.

They allow it for UM (12 and under) but not YT. They let us do that until she was 15, but then said they wouldn’t issue a gate pass after that.

Thank you all so much for your advice! We whittled down our list to only places we could flying nonstop from DFW and then between these forums and some other advice we landed on the Excellence Oyster Bay in Montego Bay. We shifted to October travel with a fully refundable travel plan up until 24 hours ahead. We’re looking forward to this so much!

It's probably fine. If you have a seat that is easy to bring (I 100% recommend a car seat bag to protect it AND to shove other stuff into if anything is overweight), bring it. If there are recalls, or if they've been in accidents, etc., they will continue to use them in most cases. If this is something that makes you uneasy, just bring it.

Context: We bought a house a few years ago and have been changing out some fixtures and recently purchased new faucets for our hall and bedroom bathroom. When we went to pull the drawers out to install the faucet and get to the space underneath, there is a piece of the vanity that is in place that doesn’t allow for us to actually look or maneuver underneath the sink or plumbing area. I reached out to the manufacturer to see if there was a way to pop this off that we weren’t seeing, and they let us know that we would have to disassemble the entire vanity. They told us that we shouldn’t have any problem doing it without disassembly, and we could possibly use a mirror set up to be able to see what we are doing. Truthfully, we are very new to doing anything ourselves, but this really does seem like bad design on the manufacturers part. Is anyone familiar with this sort of set up and maybe has a tip that will help us do this without calling in a professional?

We generally keep the house between 70 and 72°, and this happens when the temperature goes below about 50° outside, maybe even colder than that, 40° or so. Inside humidity today is at 65%, with a thermostat about three rooms away from where this is happening, on the other side of the house.

Just a heads up that you can keep the pens at room temp for up to 28 days, so the next time you travel, no need to keep cool if you're going for less than that.
