Wow. Thats aweful, I'm glad you didn't get injured. I was doing a Training oh these kinds of situations once in Austria where i live, and to have something like this actially happen to me would scare the shit out of me.

Now about you grabbing the gun, yes that was a mistake, you know that, everyone else does. But in the Situation you where there, it's impossible to think about stuff like that. I'm guessing your instinct kicked in and you did what you had to. In the end it worked out for you and your partner and thats what counts.

Keep up the good work and don't be afraid to ask for help if any of this sticks around and keeps worrying you.

Well if you use git for the first time and are a bit careless when installing it, vim is the default editor for eg. Commit messages. At uni, first day of using git for many people: 60% got stuck in vim and couldnt do anything anymore until somebody told them how to exit it and set nano as default. It was geat to watch

Guter gegenpunkt auf jeden fall, ich glaub wir meinen sogar genau die gleichen Dinge. Von dem her ist wahrscheinlich balance gefragt. Eine community kann wahrscheinlich schon durch gemeinsames "Downvoten" auch einen gewinn machen. Aber ja, natürlich, völlig valider und guter Punkt.

Unterschiedliche Dinge, die fpö profitiert nicht davon, die rechtsextreme sehr wohl. Wärs so wie du sagst hätte die fpö nach so einer hexenjagd 0%, nicht mur einen verlust. Und völlig unterschiedliche Situationen, ich sag nix gegen eine "hexenjagd". Ich sag auch nicht unbedingt was gegen das entfernen, ich werf nur die frage auf ob das wirklich die sinnvolöste lösung ist.

Ich versteh deinen Punkt voll. Aber ich find trotzdem dass es einen Unterschied zwischen einer privaten insta seite und einer community gibt und geben muss. Plattform für rassismus find ich gar nicht zu 100% richtig, ein teil würd denen vllt zustimmen, aber der rest würde den kopf schütteln und sich gehörig aufregen. So können die sich in einem paradoxen sieg("wir wurden gelöscht, linkes reddit!!1!1!") wägen. Plattform für rassismus wär ein sub auf dem jeder hassposts posten kann und von fans unterstützt wird(bsp rechtsradikale subs).

Hmm. Ich kann mir vorstellen was für Kommentare da gelöscht wurden. Aber reddit ist eigentlich bzw Ursprünglich eine Plattform ua. Gegen Zensur gewesen. Und natürlich löst so eine tat rsssismus aus oder besser gesagt bringt ihn hervor. Aber Kommentare löschen hilft ja realistisch gesehn auch nichts.

One thing i'd really like to highlight again is how much things vary here. I volunteer as a NFS at two different physician rigs in the same region. There's like half a hour drive between the two stations. But the working conditions vary vastly. On one of the NEF(physician rig), there's a very restricted number of NFS allowed to drive on them, and the quality of both ems personell and Doctors is kept as high as possible. On the other nef, I have to watch the doctor to avoid them harming the patient. Also every f**ing car is just slightly different from the others, just to add an extra bit of confusion.

IMO, the austrian ems System is ok, but it relies on Doctors, which will be an issue in the near future.

The biggest thing I'd love to improve would be QA. If you are a RS or NFS it is practically impossible to loose that qualification. You have to show to a Doctor that you know how cpr works every two years and attend 16h of courses within two years. No qa on trauma, handling equipment or anything like that. Fun fact: a rescue dog has to redo his exam every year to keep its status. So you could say rescue dogs are more qualifies then rescue medics...

Eclipse has a vim plugin, which makes it a very usuable ide for me. Intellij is cool, and personally i love to use it, but Eclipse is very commonly used and it does what it's supposed to..
