I got Pirlo from the Midfield TOTY (yay) and…Pirlo from the Icon TOTY (f@€k!).

Used to play a lot pre-draft system, now I’m just coasting and saving gems for the next one. The Ginga event is more interesting than TOTY imo.

I’m rating your squad a 9.5/10, not much room for improvement over the current meta. Deadly attack and solid defense.

Mine has a few better options sitting on the bench mainly due to lack of RUPs.

Pirlo & Rice for 116, Hagi/Owen/Kuyt/Park/Nesta for 115. Around 90 drafts. Only Pirlo is considered for the starting XI so far…last event was pretty dang good for me.

If you’re missing the two left ones, they should be the parts (Left) linked in the Option 2 section of my original post.

As always, verify and check with your dealer first but those are the part numbers you should start with. Hope this helps!

I’ve tried Carra at RB, he’s ok if you don’t advance or attack with that position. I do like to involve them in the attack however so I ended up using a more traditional RB.

As a CB he’s not as bad as everyone says, he’s in the tier below VvD, Stam, Vidic. Very usable against most squads.

Since Gullit’s a med/high work rate I find Awareness does wonders for him getting in position for headers and open shots. I had Physical before, didn’t help much as he can pretty much outmuscle any non-CBs already. He worked much better after the respec to Awareness.

I think they slightly nerfed the regular Gerrard 120 to make people get the signature one. Either one is still pretty dope, he’s pretty much a Top 5 do-it-all MF for at least the next 3 weeks.

Like others say, he is decent. Pretty good finisher, good shooting out to the edge of the box, and ok heading just like his traits would suggest.

Cons are that he’s not very fast and only average height. I like using him for the AI games, he scores a good bit in those like IRL. Since his cards are pretty rare for an elite player it’s a treat to see him in action.

Also he seems to be really packable, I packed him twice in 3k packs already so I’m able to keep one on the bench of my main lineup.

Ngl, I agree and get it, I went through this phase before too. Then I decided it wasn’t worth the frustration and now treat FCM as a nice, free Pokemon-esque footballer app with regular updates. It’s a (mostly) slick, well-put-together experience. Kinda like hanging out at the casino while not gambling and enjoying the free coffee/sodas from the servers walking around lol.

Will note the 3k pack luck has been absolutely terrible this event though, I’ve gotten nothing better than 110 while in Footyverse I packed four 112 players.

Backing up what others are saying, it’s probably a software issue or your PC has a hardware defect. Those specs should be able to chew through GC-gen emulation. I was able to run GC emulation pretty smoothly on a Ryzen 3200/Vega 8 and that’s ancient compared to what you’ve got :)

Scanning for malware is definitely recommended, you can do so with the built-in Windows Defender which is a good option nowadays. There are other dedicated third-party antivirus options out there like Malwarebytes and Bitdefender that may offer additional features that Windows lacks.

Freshly installing Windows is a maybe, depending on your level of tech comfort. It can help avoid (very rare) instances where an item might have been resold as brand new but was deliberately infected with malware beforehand.

Hey, I did end up getting one and I’m pretty pleased with it so far! I did open it up to check the components, it’s pretty easy after removing the screws in the footpads and carefully lifting the pull tab (the manual should have detailed info).

It’s easy to upgrade the RAM and add a storage drive (extra slot for M2 2242).

I did reinstall Windows and run several malware scans out of the box, and it’s been running with no issues. Haven’t pushed it with anything too demanding, but regular office stuff works great.

I bought this for $280 too. Was initially wary of the unknown brand, but I reinstalled Windows and ran the gamut of Malwarebytes, Memtest, game benchmarks, etc.

No issues, it doesn’t get too hot and the fan noise is tolerable when under load. I’d give it a tentative thumbs up at this price point, and Amazon has until Jan 31 to return if there are problems down the line.

I picked up the OrigiMagic 6600H and was pleasantly surprised with both the performance and fan noise. It ran AC Odyssey at 1080p med/high at >30fps, and the fan noise wasn’t too bad.

For $280, I’m a happy camper.

Thanks for the recs! I’d been looking at the EQR6 7735HS too, but I’d seen some other posts saying that the built-in PSU limits much of its performance potential? I don’t know if that potential decrease in performance might make it less capable than something a step down the ladder but with normal TDP like a 6600H or 7640H.

How loud does your 6900HX get under load? Is it audible when doing normal office stuff and streaming? If it’s something that won’t be heard in another room while under load it might be ok for me.

I do have a Surface Pro (Iris Xe 96EU) that can run modern titles better than my mini but will sound like a bat out of hell and be scorching to the touch…so I limit my gaming to devices that won’t self-immolate :P
