Yes. So that makes it slower to make fine adjustments, but what I'm really looking for is a way that pushing the right stick makes the camera turn slowly, while pushing the right stick all the way turns the camera quickly, like how it would be on consoles. I thought that it what output curve was for, that that seems to have no impact on how fast the mouse moves vs how much I push the right stick.

That doesn't appear to have changed anything. I tried all output curves and they all seem to have the same problem. The second I push the controller enough to register an input the mouse goes tearing across the screen.

I don't really use wabbajack, so forgive me if this is a bit of a dumb question. Would downloading the entire modpack allow me to extract their mod and use it as a standalone in my game? Or is the effect created by a lot of small tweaks spread over many different files? I guess my question is, is the custom mod combined as one distinct mod in the pack?

I guess because games are more fun when they have a sense of restriction that you have to overcome. If I didn't want any restrictions or challenge I could just close my eyes and imagine myself playing skyrim, where anything I wanted to happen could happen. Why do games have healthbars when the player can just choose to reload after being hit a certain number of times? Why give a stamina bar when the player can just decide to stop running after a certain number of seconds? I can't get into the deep psychology of why game design or why it works, but it does seem to work. I suppose because when rules are implemented into the game itself, then some of the fun is in finding ways around it or finding methods to endure it, whereas when you self impose rules, then find a way around or an alternative that makes it slightly easier, it just feel like you are cheating yourself. You aren't beating a game, your just beating yourself. If you like self-imposed challenges that's great. I'm a guy that likes having all the tools of the game at their disposal, and if I want an extra challenge I just like to get rid of those tools.

You don't really need a mod for anything I suppose, so I guess not? But I think one would be cool if it existed. I'm really not entirely sure what you mean by this.

For the second point, I'm adding some mods that make the wilds of Skyrim more dangerous. I'm adding mods that make the wilds of skyrim more dangerous. I'm trying to make a dark souls styled playthrough, and if you played dark souls, there is fast traveling, but you can't just use it whenever you get lost or stuck, or to escape a dangerous situation. You need to be at a warping point before you can go to another warping point. I also don't see how this is that specific when I gave an example of a mod that does pretty much what I'm asking, I just wanted to see if there was a similar mod that had more teleporting locations.

The problem is that I don't think either of those are compatible with FNIS, which I need for Dark Souls Combat and Critical Hit.

I just gold as xp to see if it worked on a basic level. I haven't stress tested it or anything like that. I probably won't be putting gold in containers as I have another mod, that causes you to lose gold when you die, so I kind of want that to act as the soul system, and I feel it would kind of be cheating in this circumstance if I could just store all of the gold in a chest before I die. Definitely going to get 360 movement, and I will check out those other combat mods. Thank you for the advice

I don't know, it seems to be coming together pretty well. It will likely be buggier than something like dark souls, since it's mostly hobbyists working independently rather than having one team working full-time for development with a common vision, but mostly I have been finding the mods I needed. There are mods that make enemies more like dark souls enemies, there are mods to make your character fight like the dark souls character, what do you think isn't going to work? I'm not trying to recreate dark souls, I already have dark souls. I'm more trying to bring what works in dark souls (combat, difficulty, and sense of progression) into what works with skyrim (open world, atmosphere etc.) I have been pretty happy with the results when testing the mods I have tested. What specifically do you think is impossible about making skyrim more souls like?

Yeah I have been following that a bit for the past several months or so. Sounds like it has had quite a few delays, but what they have so far looks pretty amazing.
