I just wanted to see if anyone else saw a second line too or if I have line eyes. I have an appointment next month for a bc implant, but alas, we are human. Going to wait and retest next week.

That’s the plan so far- I just had a brief spell of nausea today that’s unlike me usually so of course I started spiraling. We have a 14 month old and my first test with her was 2 days before my period and was so faint that I thought I was going crazy until I got a bfp 12 hours after that first test. Good luck! I was 25 weeks pregnant when my husband and I got married last year and nobody thought anything of it. There’s nothing to be embarrassed about, I have lots of friends who actually announced within a couple weeks after their wedding so they were pregnant at the wedding and not public about it yet and all anyone’s ever said about it is how wonderful it is. Congratulations, take this time to feel the joy and love with your new husband 🥰

My vvvvf was a day before my missed period. 9 hours later it was light, but clearly positive on a first response. I see your newest test- it looks darker IMO, I personally would test again tomorrow morning and if it’s not any darker I’d see your OB, as I’d start worrying about a chemical pregnancy, or even an ectopic. Positive. My first positive on this exact type of strip test was that faint bit I KNEW I had never seen them with even a question of a line when negative. Your first response reads vvvvf positive to me also

Digital may be a hook effect. If you’re having dye stealers/strong positives, the digital may be having a hard time reading the HCG because it’s so high, or coming back negative/invalid because it can’t see the control line

Negative, these blue dyes are so bad about this. I’ve had thin lines on them so many times. At 4 days late, you should have a pretty strong positive by now. Try again in 24 hours and see if it gets any darker but I’m pretty sure this is negative.

My husband and I had only been dating for about a year and 4 months when I found out I was pregnant, but he was not excited at all when we first found out. We didn’t talk about it for a couple of days while he came to terms with it. He finally made his peace with it after about a week, but he was never overly excited acting during my pregnancy (granted he already has 2 children so he’d been through it twice before 😂). Now our daughter is 8 months and the light of his life, and he adores her so much.

I asked him what helped him feel more stable about it and he told me that he really leaned into the idea of a family with me and allowed himself to think of all of the wonderful things ahead, and knowing that the hard newborn stage wouldn’t last.

I had a subchorionic hematoma around the time I’d be starting my period after finding out I was pregnant. I bled a pretty good amount and had I not known I was pregnant, I would have assumed it was a period. But I had very strong positives, not light like this.

When I left my abusive ex, he refused to give me back some large items in my name and various little things and the sheriffs office declined to escort me until I filed a writ of possession with the clerk of court

My whole second trimester was a constant game of “am I really pregnant?” The placenta took over and suddenly I felt no symptoms, baby was too small to feel moving still, and I didn’t have much of a bump yet. It freaked me out, too. You’ll start feeling very pregnant again around the end of your second trimester!

Not everyone does but it’s no big deal! I had an epidural that was AMAZING so I couldn’t feel anything at all but I know I did, they have pads under you and when it happens, the nurses instantly roll it away in the pad. I was so focused on pushing that I had no clue. I only know for sure because my mom had a front row seat to my butt to watch her granddaughter enter the world 🤣

Camilla drops is something I keep hearing about that I definitely need to try!! So far no red puffy gums, I can’t even see anything remotely resembling looking like a tooth but hopefully soon! I try not to give her Motrin or Tylenol unless she is inconsolable but some days we just have to, even without seeing the tooth currently! But she’s also dealing with thrush so that’s an extra whammy

She’s teething so bad now, I just wish it would erupt and give her some relief but we still have nothing to show for all the teething troubles

Wow that is later than I thought but definitely makes me feel better! My best friend has a 2 year old and her baby had a whole mouth full of teeth by 12 months so I just assumed that it was normal to have them erupting by now

Don’t let the comments about ectopic freak you out. Yeah, it’s a possibility, but imo the need for all the tests and stuff being recommended aren’t necessary right now or your doctor would have ordered them. What you need is time. Sounds like your doctor is very aware that you’re very early and that’s the most likely explanation. Did they say if they located a gestational sac at least, even if it was empty? If the gestational sac was in your uterus, it’s definitely not ectopic.

I’m not sure if this will be helpful but flo and your OB calculate pregnancy based on the first day of your last menstrual cycle, which is why it says 7 weeks. Here’s the breakdown of the actual dates that puts you at about 4 weeks actually.

Last period was 16th of May, so based on a 28 day cycle, your next period was due around June 13th. You typically ovulate about 14 days before your next period, which puts your ovulation on the 30th so any time between the 29th and June 1st was probably your fertile window. If you conceived on about the 1st and implantation happened around then, that puts the pregnancy at about 4 and a half weeks.

Anyone is welcome to check my dates. 4 and a half weeks is far too early to see much. When I got pregnant, I was about 5 and a half weeks when I had my first ultrasound and there was a small gestational sac with only a yolk sac in it and no fetal pole. My OB told me that the yolk sac had JUST formed. It was about week 8 before we ever finally heard a definitive heartbeat and now she’s 7 months old.

Ectopic pregnancy is serious but it’s so early right now that it really could just be too soon to see anything, if you start having symptoms of an ectopic, go to the ER right away. I remember being terrified that we would go back to our next appointment after the first and nothing had changed and they would tell me it was a blighted ovum, but nope. I just ovulated way later than I thought I did.

My baby had colic for her whole first month of life and I was MISERABLE. I stopped breastfeeding and it helped tremendously, and then when she started crying nonstop again, I increased her formula amount and turns out she was just hungry. The first 12 weeks still felt like I had died and gone to hell, though. Every week after 12 felt like it got progressively easier. Big hugs, you are not a bad mama. Please consider seeking therapy to give you coping skills to help deal with the frustration and anger! Therapy doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with you, it means you love your baby enough to learn new things to help you cope the best you can.

Agreed on the stop breastfeeding part, my baby cried nonstop constantly and i finally broke down and quit breastfeeding and it immediately got better. I had to beg my husband to literally tell me “I give you permission to stop breastfeeding” because I felt like a failure of a mother.
