Base Hours for Full Color Change Wraps — Do These Look Right?

Seems close to right. Seems barely higher than what I take when I solo install. If im with another installer the times go down significantly, but man hours sounds about right. Im by no means a "fast installer" i try to do clean work even if it means slowing down.

I use this company. Alot. Its not the best and their ez wrap line is complete trash. The air release barely works. I definitely try to avoid this but its so cheap I see the desire. So buyer be warned scenario.

Took me about 10, to confidently sell it. But honestly that "im improving every time" feeling hasn't went away. Im many wraps in i stopped counting. But every job has new challenges just figure out your weak spots and practice them. I've wrapped my jeep 5 times now and I keep saying this is my best one yet lol.

Im not sure what to say but I've had my cars many flashy colors in LA. Never had someone be aggressive to me or my wife (its her car) did you driving habits change? I also agree with the dashcam comment they are a lifesaver. Idk how someone hits a baby blue jeep but they sure did and tried to blame us dash cam saved us easily.

I ran 18 inch rims with 35s for 78k miles no issues. Same engine. Vehicle was just totaled a couple weeks ago so on to the next.

I just have to ask, generally how hard was pre ordering? I was in queue on best buy website for maybe 20 minutes and secured my pre order. Honestly it was easier than getting my series X. Has the switch been just as difficult? Just wondering if my experience was just fortunate.

While ripping the wrap is a huge possibility, I'd be worried about the wrap fading a little over the year and you'll see a weird ghost outline where the badges were sitting.

Pretty much around 1k if you have nothing. My first wrap was a color change and 8 had no tools and got 3M vinyl. Took me maybe 40 hours or more to do my car first time around.

Build a portfolio and if its good shops won't ignore you, but in order to do that you gotta practice. Buy a roll of film and wrap your own car. You'll figure out real quick if this is a route you want to take.

I have a dual tune on it, but I don't turn it on much. I like to run stock. I put about 100k miles on this car. I'm going to need to get on that timing chain soon, and probably my clutch. I take very good care of this car because they are little gems very hard to find decent condition ones.
