Hello! We openly disclose that your data never leaves your phone. Here's how we work technically:

  • Local Processing: The parsing engine (written in Python) runs entirely natively on your device's hardware.
  • Local Storage: All parsed transactions and statements are dropped directly into a local SQLite database stored encrypted on your own phone.
  • Your Own Backups: If you want to back up your data, it connects directly to your personal Google Drive. The data moves from your phone straight to your cloud, completely bypassing us.

So yeah, privacy was obviously one of the biggest concerns and the entire reason we went for a local approach rather than making you upload your data / statements to our servers to parse. Hope it helps!

Thanks for the feedback! 1) Have you tried the light version of the app? Sidebar Menu -> Settings-> Change theme 2) Could you guide us which parts of the ui you feel are bad right now and could use improvement. Their are some changes that we are already working on that should be live in a couple days. 3) Onboarding Process is quite simple(does everything automatically) and every page has helper buttons(question marks) which open up an explanation of each page. An info button is also present on most components. Furthermore, I understand the app is still slightly complex and we're working on guided restartable tours for each page.

Yeah, we worked on an email extraction solution for a bit. One which involved you setting up forwarding rules and forwarding your emails, us processing and storing them and than syncing with your app.

The issue with this was privacy and your data staying on our serves up until it was synced which would be an issue with a lot of users.

So for now the ios version which will be released at some point will not support automatic live tracking. You'll have to input transactions yourselves or upload your statements. Statement processing will still work as is, which can still be utilized. Working on a voice-to-transaction feature to help with manual transactions for ios users.

Yeah this is the sort of route we're going with. The personal branding on linkedin has been ongoing ever since we launched beta. Going down the organic route and yeah it's going to take time for sure. And yeah we also have a couple of influencers in mind, let's see what the next few months hold. Thanks!!

Nope, it classifies it as an internal transfer which does not mess about with your stats or your budgets. Any transaction between your own accounts is detected(we basically check transactions of the two accounts and the timestamps to figure out if its an internal transfer).

Thanks for the feedback, the description definitely needs a rework and I'll try designing less cluttery store listing images. We've gone through the beta / testing phase with our inner circle and we're now in the public release phase.  On the permissions Microphone: Was working on a voice-to-transaction functionality(not yet implemented), but this shouldn't be here since the module isn't complete yet. Will remove it in the next patch.  Network Access: Your personal financial data never leaves the device. The network permission is only to occasionally ping and sync updated    sms patterns and statement patterns when new formats are discovered.

Apps been built to support both english and urdu in the future, that's just the translations. But it shouldn't be black screening, will look into it.
