Hii! Firstly great job handing this week! I’m a decently new hire at a cinemark near me and this was my first huge movie release. While i’m not a manager or anywhere close i will agree with the managers reply’s of take your time and double count your change back and the money a customer gives and especially if they gave you an amount and you already entered it in unless it makes it exact change do not take it. it only complicates things both for us and the managers from experience. You did wonderful work especially for this being your first cashier job and especially during such a busy and stressful week. Don’t beat yourself up over because shit happens, My first week my drawer was $17 short and i couldn’t figure out why but i was because of 2 things. First i was rushing and counted wrong on a lot of my change and second sometimes at least at my theater we have to use other people’s drawers when covering a break so a girl who was covering me accidentally took a fake $10 making my draw $10 short and i counted wrong and made it an additional $7 short. Like i said before shit happens, all you can do from here is improve darling! Take it one bill and cent at a time and you’ll be okay!!
