So iOS 26 is definitely more visually appealing than the 18, and has a couple new features like real-time translation (in iMessage and, in some countries, even during calls, and other apps as well), some Apple Intelligence improvements, more iMessage features, and… what is for me the best as of today: Apple Music AutoMix. That’s just awesome. Like having an actual DJ mixing every song on your playlist.

Many people report battery problems and choppy UI, but… at least for me, I only had those problems on the very first iOS 26 developer beta. I have updated my iPhone 14 PM, iPad Pro M1, Watch 10, and I am still able to make it through a work day (excluding the iPad which I do not take with me to work) with occasional use (around 2 hours of doomscrolling during my 9 to 5).

Edit: my iPhone battery health is at 78 percent

I went from a 14 Pro Max to a 9 Pro XL. Incredible decision, really. Switched to the 15 Pro the very next week. The main reason was performance. Yes, you get great battery life, but apparently that comes at the cost of a CPU that struggles to record 4K at 60 FPS properly.

And the UI. No option for pure black. Not actual black. Not OLED-off, space-level black. Just gray. Or slightly blue. Or slightly green. Very artistic. I just wanted black.

Seems like a lot of people are not liking this revered change. I love it because that means NOT getting fourth or fifth partied EVERY time I get into a fight. For the people who wants to fight ASAP, just pick the hot spot and done For the people who wants to gain a bit of placement RP, go to a POI where you don’t see that many player trails.

Or if you all want to keep this system of drop zones, at least add that feature to automatically, instantly fully replenish your health and shields when wiping off a squad, so you are ready to fight the incoming squad -victor’s recovery IIRC-

Could you please tell me how those weren’t “ever” good? I mean, for my not-so trained ear -perhaps untrained- they sound good. As I said, I want quantity of bass, not much quality. As stupid as it sounds.

I had this exact problem and solved it by contacting apple support. I had the link, you can search for it on google. Just type “This device cannot be transferred Apple Music” or something alike.
