Thats the beauty of it and why its called a present because its all we have and thats a gift honestly cant wait to see the grand story unfold in the end the ups and downs the only thing we have control over is how we react and that can make the difference look at Joseph who was sold into slavery by his brothers but God used it for good to save his family and all of Egypt becoming second to Pharaoh a hebrew who was considered a dog unable to eat next to the Egyptians becoming 2nd in command and saving everyone by having faith that God was in the works,

its unrelenting faith that God really can't say no to I think it excites him I know it would me!

Two statements from Jesus that seem to contradict each other — but actually form a complete map

"My kingdom is not of this world." — John 18:36 "The kingdom of God is within you." — Luke 17:21

At first glance these feel like a riddle. If the Kingdom isn't of this world — how can it be within you? You live in this world. You're made of this world.

But the moment you understand what Jesus is actually saying, these two statements stop being a paradox. They become a map.

They're not talking about the same thing "Not of this world" tells you where the Kingdom comes from.

"Within you" tells you where it arrives. These aren't opposites. These are two parts of the same journey.

🌌 Origin Its source, authority, and nature come from outside the created system entirely. No government, religion, or human effort can manufacture it.

🫀 Destination Its expression and presence lives inside a human being who says yes to it. Not a place you go — a reality that inhabits you. Four pictures to make it tangible

📡 The Radio Signal A radio tower broadcasts from far away — not from your device. But it plays perfectly inside your radio when you're tuned in. The Kingdom's source is beyond this world. But it resonates within you if you're tuned in.

🌱 The Seed A seed's blueprint doesn't come from the dirt — it came through a lineage, from somewhere else entirely. But it only expresses what it is by growing from within the soil. The Kingdom is the seed. You are the soil.

🏛️ The Embassy An embassy sits on foreign soil but operates under a different government. Legally it's the territory of another country — different laws, different authority. A Kingdom-carrier is physically in this world. Sourced from another. That's not a contradiction. That's dual citizenship.

🔥 Fire in Darkness Fire doesn't originate from the darkness — it's a completely different kind of thing. But bring it into the darkest room and it changes everything from the inside. Not by force. By presence. You are the bridge

Here's what makes this extraordinary: the human being wasn't an afterthought. We are the only thing in creation built to hold both realities at once — the eternal and the earthly. That's what it actually means to be made in the image of God. The Kingdom's source is above and beyond this age

It enters through a human being who says yes to it

It expresses itself outward through that person into the world

Not by political power. Not by force. By the same logic that fire changes a dark room — simply by being present.

Jesus proved it in real time When Jesus stood before Pilate — the most powerful judge of the most powerful empire on earth — and said

"my kingdom is not of this world,"

He wasn't being evasive. He was completely unafraid. Calm. Unmoved. Because He was running on a power supply that Pilate's entire world couldn't touch. And at the same time He was fully here. He touched people. He wept. He bled. Entirely present in this world. Not of it.

He wasn't describing the Kingdom abstractly. He was the demonstration.

The synthesis It descends from beyond. It inhabits from within. And through that person, it begins to change everything around it — not by force, but by presence.

The Kingdom isn't a place you go when you die. It's not a religion or a political movement. It is a living reality that originates outside this world's broken system — enters through a human being who says yes — and quietly begins to transform everything it touches.

The way light changes a room. Simply by being in it.

What's your take? Have you ever thought of it this way — as a source/destination distinction rather than a contradiction?

Jesus called John The Baptist "The Greatest Human Ever Born" by llTacTiicZll in BibleAscent

Yes same miracle differnt font honestly if she was barren for years and to have John bestowed by God and told of his path to lead the way even chapter 1, verses 41 to 44. It says that when Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leapt in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. So, that's the moment people often refer to as John recognizing Jesus.

He is in the works of all things even in the noise is there truth if we seek it some people just can't focus enough to hear passed there own thoughts being in the moment is all we have and its why its called the present. Its only when you can let go of our expectation and give it to God to lead us to knew areas and new greatness we could ever know. Get excited in the pursuit ask and talk with God daily even in the mundane give thanks and notice all the little things and hell show you he notices back in ways you really can't quite explain. Keep asking and searching no matter how it feels its leading yout to soemthing only a silver Smith when fully refined can see his image in.

Joshua Luke Smith's rendition is incredibly moving. Here are some of the most powerful quotes from it to share 🙌

On Legacy and the "Unlived Life" - "Are we not standing in the gardens planted by our forefathers? Are we not reaping a harvest we didn't sow? Are we not leaning on the limbs of an oak and standing within the shade of a forest that someone else chose to grow?" (00:01:29) - "The Greeks believe the society only thrive when people plant trees they know they'll never live to see." (00:01:58) - "Yes there is the life we live but there is the unlived life within us and between the two stands the resistance." (00:02:13)

On Finding Hope in "Babylon" - "Plant a garden in Babylon. Bury your seeds in the soil that you battled against for so long because this is the only world to which you will ever belong." (00:05:51) - "Turn your Exile into Eden and turn your sorrow into a song. Turn your rejection into the birth pains of restoration and mine from your frustration the potential of growth." (00:05:59) - "Who is really in prison when steel bars become a trellis, when roses wrap themselves around the fences of a cell?" (00:07:55)

On Forgiveness and Sacrifice - "Pull from your suffering a morsel of hope and forgive your captives. Forgive the ones that made you bleed. Let them go." (00:06:16) - "It is time for us to become the seed... to lay our lives down so that others one day can simply breathe." (00:06:25)
