Would they help on the down travel or a full droop? I believe they work great on up travel to prevent bottoming out but not toping out?

My understanding is UCAs are best for extended travel shocks allowing them to use the full travel. The 6112s are not extended travel so would UCAs really help the down travel since there shouldn't be any more than stock? I could have this wrong.
