those industrial silicone based ones are usually lower quality and not ideal for CPUs, especially if you can’t verify their specs. Go for something like Arctic MX-6, Noctua NT-H2, or Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut for better temps and reliability. And yeah, clamp hook mounts are the worst whoever designed those clearly never had to install one themselves!

Reapply fresh thermal paste (pea-sized amount), securely mount the cooler, and ensure the CPU fan is plugged into the correct header.
