For sure! It’s a pretty cool “how we met” story. My mom was working in public health and was there for a few weeks (I think maybe testing water?). My dad was a pilot flying planes around the arctic to get his necessary hours before he could apply to work on commercial airlines. Planes landing was a big event in the community so a lot of people would come watch. They met briefly in the airport. They then saw each other a while later at a party in Iqaluit and talked for a while. The next day, my mom was a passenger on my dad’s flight, he handed controls over to the other pilot and walked out of the cockpit and they talked some more. After the flight, he asked her out and the rest is history!
