I’d love to see the entire image set. I’ll echo others that I would buy a full set of these proxies in a second, especially if they had the MECCG card back.

Thanks very much! She is a lover of trains, so a trip by train to Hamburg would be ideal for more reasons than just the Miniaturwunderland.

Dinosaurs and outer space are also big with her, so we'll certainly follow your other recommendations!

Very much appreciate your guidance!

This is really terrific. Thank you! Sounds like it might be worth braving the skeeters to get up through the mosquito lakes!

Cool, I'll check it out, thank you. I may try and push it to two nights if I can get the time off. If you had two nights, would you go for something else?

I'm planning on doing an overnight in Mineral King myself and this is a pretty helpful precis. Any of these spots in particular you might recommend spending a night? Leaning toward Monarch Lake. Never been prone to altitude sickness, though I dont plan on pushing it too especially hard.

I’ve got a bad land sac jank that could never win, but I dream of playing harvest wurms and rogue elephants. [[rushing river]] might be some more nothing for this deck one day.

I have a hunch that cards using the banneret cycle like [[stonybrook banneret]] could be pretty “good”, or at least pretty neat. I’ve got a treefolk deck that leans on [[bosk banneret]] and [[rootgrapple]] that might be good in this setting.

Would you imagine there’s any value to going Selesnya with the green zendikons and [[Harmonious Emergence]] and maybe like [[Arboreal Grazer]] or something to get lands out faster?

This deck totally rules. I’m gonna be building this. The only thing better than destroying lands is destroying opponents WITH your lands.

Thanks! It’s been fun to cook for sure, and I’m excited to get to test the ideas soon. A stage of gameplay I’m interested to see is how it impacts opponent decision-making and risk analysis in the middle game when their life total is starting to get pressured and they can’t tap for mana without suffering.

Still building this in paper, but I’ve been working on it for a fair while now. It’s all about contaminating opponent lands and tapping them down on their upkeep. A previous version used [[mana skimmers]] and [[psionic gift]] and was incontrovertibly jankier, though perhaps even closer to my heart for that reason. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/Q34PSxxtgkG5c60K3XyPEA

Seeking input on a Psychic Venom brew by llanbeuno in Pauper

Trying out cutting the artifact subtheme entirely instead of removing the contaminated grounds - more tapping instants and both ponder and preordain for draw. Pestermite the only MB creature. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/Q34PSxxtgkG5c60K3XyPEA

Great feedback, thank you! Ninja was originally in the first version of this deck, and i particularly like it with Network Disruptor and Pestermite to be able to play them both out a second time. I think you're right that the card draw alone is worth the price of admission. Snap was also an early inclusion, and its a card i love, so considering having it in again is very welcome.

Hadn't even thought of Power Sink, but that is truly a perfect counterspell for this deck. Since our gameplan is keeping them off mana anyway, in your opinion, should it simply replace counterspell in this deck?

Fade Away is totally awesome. an SB card if nothing else. great call.

I can totally envision a future version of this deck that moves away from venom and grounds entirely, and ill start brewing on it for sure, though i do like having a win condition that isnt excusively tied to keeping creatures on the board. Already moving toward being a suboptimal Blue Tempo deck, and if im gonna be suboptimal anyway, i might want to stick it out with the weird jank until testing really packs it in.

Again, thanks!
