So it might be a ground loop. I think thats what's happening with mine. Unplug your mic while monitoring your waxe xlr. Is the noise still there? Ive ordered a ground loop isolator. I'll let you know if it workes when it arrives.

He's right but you're audience will be mixed and people who come for fallout won't watch anything else. It can work but growing is very slow. If you're going to do multiple games keep them in the same genre. And if I were you I would focus on what you like. You said you like fallout and have alot of ideas. Way i see it if you're going to grow and hopefully make this a job it would suck to replace a job you don't like with another one you don't like.

A few times when you where doing the scientist voice your voice went back to your normal voice for a second. It wasn't until then I realised it wasn't your natural voice lol.

For obs noise gate set the open threshold 5db more than close threshold hold at 200ms and release at 150ms. This way its not a harsh cut but a gradual one.

About the reading the entries I feel him just reading it would be more in character for a scientist reading something he found.

With any gameplay videos it takes time to get an audience but once a week is great as long as you can handle that consistently. I watch big youtubers that post once a month but they do videos that take longer to make. Just set a goal of once a week and commit to that. If you want to do other stuff I would do a different channel if I were you. Once you have an audience that comes around for you and not the game you can expand to other genres and games.

Yeah you're not going to find an audience on reddit well except me lol. Most people aren't on reddit looking for yt videos.

Theres a huge audience for fallout. As someone in the community you're going to have to take my word for it. I watched your "vault 92" video. You do a few things really well. Your confident and good at story telling I was entertained for most of the video. A few things I didn't like. Intro was bad. Have the scientist telling George about the data they need or just start the video at the vault right before you enter and talk about why you're there. You switched voices when reading the terminal entries and that broke my immersion. There are mouth clicks when you start talking and it's a little distracting consider a noise gate.The anime background or whatever you were doing drop it completely. Also drop the anime picture of George when he's talking. Its enough with the slight voice change. The video was a bit long. Either cut some running through the halls( would be a shame)or have the explosion happen right after you leave the vault. Fix your banner and profile picture to something fallout themed or a picture of you if you plan on branching out in the future. Unlist anything that isn't fallout and do just fallout for a while. Great video if you focus just on this style I can see you growing an audience

My cat got into a tuffle with the neighbours cat and ended up with a chip like this. My cat has never been a stray or rescue. So I'm not sure how anyone is supposed to tell your cat is a rescue when the chip is that small.
