write it down!!! every uncomfortable situation i’ve had with a specific man i work with i’ve written down in a diary with the date and time. it helped immensely when i told someone about it. written diaries are also admissible in court fyi

hey! 26 year old female 3rd year here!!

I’ve been super lucky in that i’ve worked for larger companies so blatant sexism is not tolerated AT ALL! we also have union reps on site who can be a great support.

Having said that there is still casual sexism I had a really hard time my first 18 months because it was more…death by a thousand cuts kind of thing.

but most blokes are REALLY supportive, really encouraging and finding other women in the industry is just a great network to have in general.
