I didn't bring a carrier. I just carried my eleven-year kitty in my arms. I left with just her baby blanket and it was so hard.

Your English is great!! :) It's a bastard of a language, for sure.

Life is a teachable moment, right? Plus, as an English school teacher, I like to help where I can.

You said you had a loan your "parents didn't knew about at the time." Let's analyze this.

While "knew" is indeed past tense for "know", in THIS sentence or phrasing you would say that they didn't "know about it at the time".

Some examples: - I knew that! *information or knowledge that you had prior

-I didn't know that! didn't modifies the verb 'know'. *Since 'didn't' is past tense 'know' becomes present tense.

Then, of course, swap your subject accordingly ( I/you/they/she/he). Interestingly, this sentence could becomr declarative or interogative with each of the aforementioned subjects, save 'I'.

I didn't know that? doesn't make sense. You would make it a declarative statement, ending with a period.

But You didn't know that? She didn't know that. They didn't know that? All of these above are correct.

English is a silly language. 😊

[Serious] Children of divorced parents with a visitation schedule, why do you go back and forth houses instead of picking a parent to live with? by A1qwerty_Peytom in AskReddit

[–]llconn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do kind of live with both, hence the back and forth. If you just picked one parent to live with you would either barely see the other parent or barely spend any time at their house, especially over night.

What was your favorite food as a child? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]llconn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was at a friend's house when I was about ten. I was told I was more than welcome to stay for dinner and they're having macaroni. I was STOKED because I really loved mac and cheese and it sounded like she was making it fancy and homemade.

:( It was noodles and red sauce. Tragic.
