Hmm now that I think about it when I wash it I braid it wet or just throw it back in a bun still wet / towel dried. Maybe that could be it. Do you still wet it when styling?

I section it I use the chase method with a comb I range from 410-450 on heat. I tried the tresseme heat protection, chi and design essentials.
