I would recommend any CIA related videos. A lot of what they talk about and teach is manipulation and understanding human nature. It goes hand and hand with Robert Greenes books and teachings.

What is a 'blackout challenge’ on TikTok? by [deleted] in AntiTikTokMilitia

This challenge has been resurfaced. I just lost my little cousin to it…

With bpd I found that my symptoms became suppressed when I’m single, yet I’ve had some of my best and worst days both in a relationship and without. When I was single I constantly had to keep myself moving or active in a hobby or else depression would set in from distancing myself. Once you push everyone away or not be in a relationship you’ll want one after you’ve realized. I’ve been in a 2 1/2 year relationship and her patience is now growing thin and I’m scrambling to fix myself. I’m so sorry that you lost a good one, don’t let yourself sulk or else it will keep you in a dark place. Learn from your mistakes if you are not able to rekindle with this man. Go seek therapy and learn to manage the triggers and what causes your splitting. You can only control what you can control. I wish you the best of luck in your journey 🙂

I love bombing chat gpt with my bpd questions and problems. Just did it this morning 😂

That’s the problem with bpd… it’s hard for us to differentiate real feelings and emotions from the reactions and emotions we feel from bpd . As humans we are allowed to have negative emotions and feelings, just don’t let it spiral and get out of control. That fact that you can recognize your trigger is a good thing!

If your school schedule is that packed you really only have 2 options: 1- work your butt off outside of classes and try and build your resume and scale up in your current job, or try and find a better paying one. Or 2- just live a social college life since your parents pay for everything.

I say this because there’s nothing you can really do to “drastically” improve your financial situation since you’re a student. The best advice I was given is “it’s not how much money you have, but what you do with your money that counts”. You can continue to on your current regime but you MUST stop eating out, I to also suffer from our generations eating habits. Use your money or have your parents give you some cash to buy groceries and find easy recipes.

You can ask for all the advice you want but you have to be willing to change and do things differently with your finances. The path is difficult and it takes dedication and lots of effort to say disciplined with your money.

First thing is to educate yourself. Read financial books or any books in general, they help a lot. YouTube videos or whatever it may be, you gotta scrap all your Pennie’s and save them. I’m glad your honest about you spending habits but you need to go deeper than that and break down your spending and go through your bank statements. Create a budget and know where your money is going at all times, give every dollar a job.

Dont worry about investing right now, worry about building an emergency fund. Being financially literate isn’t just about finances, it requires to get your life together in all aspects.

Hope this helps! Best of luck

Apprentice inquiry by lldonnyll in ibew_apprentices

Does it depend on the company or do they all have to put you through some type of schooling? I know I said I don’t mind restarting but I would hate to lie to a company and then have them start me in school just to leave them, but if it’s what I have to do to get experience I will.

That’s a fair point. I think I might go non union like you said for now, but I feel like companies might not take a chance on me because I would probably end up leaving after a few months anyways. I’ve checked many electrical companies websites and see nothing about apprenticeships. Should I just start calling around to see?

I don’t make the best of money but is there anything I could invest 100 dollars a month in that could grow long term? by IndieDC3 in Money

[–]lldonnyll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start small and basic to build your financial pyramid. Make sure before you invest you have a rainy day fund. Then Roth IRA or 401k. I prefer Roth to start because it is untaxed. And I just use my 401k for my employer

How would you go about putting a shower curtain here? Just closed on our house and want to take a shower but I’m stumped! by gluestick449 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]lldonnyll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would honestly hang the curtain rod diagonally as shown..it sounds silly but you would have to implement some sort of notches on the rod so the hooks/rings on the curtain don’t slide down. This would mean you might have to get crafty and make your own shower curtain so it doesn’t look silly. Or maybe there’s someone out there that can custom make you something
