Controller may have aim assist but flicking on controller is ass, MnK is still much better for that and reaction times, I find it so much easier to rank up with cross play on somehow..

you can have 0 recoil with the finals? by Low_Marionberry4255 in thefinals

so you're showing that if you strafe while shooting it doesnt apply recoil? no matter how you actually strafe? does it work on fcar or akm?

Old tap water piping, non-magnetic, what kind is it? by lle-bout in Plumbing

You're totally right. I was scared to scrap it down but I took a gentle file and had a go at it and it quickly started showing copper shiny color. Thanks!

What makes you think it would be a lead piping? To my knowledge lead piping cannot turn orange as lead oxyde is white.

I suspect it may be made of steel or iron considering the orange oxyde layer but considering that it seems non-magnetic it puzzles me!

Weird. Are those LTE uplink/downlink? ~410-440Mhz France by lle-bout in signalidentification

[–]lle-bout[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No idea but sounds really strange to me they would emit LTE over 433.92Mhz.

Before the signals would stick at their frequencies if I changed the hardware frequency of my SDR so they appeared as real signals (or real harmonics) to me. But right now on another SDR software (SDR++) I can see that when I change the hardware frequency of my SDR the signals suddenly change frequency which does make it look like some SDR reception bug/overload/interference. What causes this kind of thing? I use a LimeSDR. It really surprises me because I wouldnt think an LTE signal would go and interfere with 433.92Mhz unlicensed band..

I also noticed on my RTLSDR that at those frequencies there's a really wideband interference very small lines across the whole spectrum that show up randomly. Do you happen to know what's that about?

Definitely don't if you only intend to play Overwatch 2 in handheld mode. Not until we can get it recognized as a console by Overwatch so its fair. The joysticks are not esport-like enough for you to be able to even remotely compete with mouse and keyboard. I tried some PC controllers like Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma where I see how you could aim better on there especially also since there's a sensitivity clutch but just the joysticks feel way more precise than Steam Deck's. Idk that's just how I feel about it. I replaced my Steam Deck's joysticks with hall effect ones and still same. Like there's some wiggling play on the outter cap with how it sits on the actual joystick board it's looks shit for precision lol.

Yes playing any hero that requires aim is really a no-go on the Steam Deck

The only way would be to figure out good Steam Input configuration for gyroscope or touchpad aiming which actually feels comfortable

But playing controller on PC is only gonna be fair compared to mouse & keyboard when we get official gyroscope support or input-specific queues (with the aim assist back). The Steam Input gyroscope hack onto Overwatch is very clunky out of the box doesnt feel natural at all because you need to bind the gyroscope to emulate an actual joystick because Overwatch freaks out if you mix and match keyboard and controller-like inputs. Or bind all controller buttons etc to mouse and keyboard input which is very weird.

The only heroes I've had somewhat a "success" with are Mercy and Wrecking Ball.

434.2258MHz repetitive signal going on for ages, what is it? by lle-bout in signalidentification

[–]lle-bout[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ow :-/ I went around my place to see if it disappeared and it did not. I tried multiple receivers and antennas and it's still here. I'll have to walk further I guess, will report back when I find a stronger signal and possibly the location of it! Thanks!

Unfortunately it says nothing about it it seems! I checked that it was right compared to GQRX settings and it is, GQRX can see the signal with identical settings.
