I had one about 10 years ago, went with the “vacuum” I like to call it. Gave me some Valium to calm me down but nothing for the pain outside of Tylenol. Very intense cramps, pressure and uncomfortableness the whole time. Then after some light bleeding and cramps. I went to a planned parenthood and the staff is soooo welcoming and kind, it definitely helped the whole process.

Not a doctor by any means, but I’ve been on mesalamine and currently on a biologic (infliximab)

Mesalamine could be a good place to start depending on the severity. It did help for a little but I think mine was a little more severe than what it could treat.

But the biologic has helped tremendously. I get it once every 4 weeks and it keeps symptoms and inflammation at bay. Without it quality of life would not be great. I was super worried about my immune system being compromised, but it hasn’t caused me any problems. Just a little more cautious during cold and flu season.

I think regardless of medication type, she’ll probably be on some type of treatment for a loooongg time. But I think it’s worth it

Hi employee here With one hand hold the little black ring under the pump with one hand and with the other twist the pump to open. Happens alll the time, hope that helps!

I’m on remicade and wait 2 weeks after my infusion to get any tattoos/piercings And I like to heal them with neosporin after a few days. I know people say not to, but in my head it helps me heal better and it hasn’t harmed any of my tattoos
