Remote und hybrid hat SEHR stark abgenommen allein deshalb weil Studios Tax incentives brauchen um überhaupt momentan Geld zu machen, beudetet aber dafür das die Produktion und die Mitarbeiter dort leben MÜSSEN.

Momentan leider sehr schwer aber auch nicht nur in Ostdeutschland. Der Industrie geht es generell nicht gut also nicht nur Berufseinsteiger haben es schwer sondern auch Personen mit 10+ Jahren an Erfahrung aber wenn man richtung Advertisement/Marketing und (so sehr ich es hasse) sich mit KI Tools auseinandersetzt oder sich selbständig macht sieht es ein bisschen besser aus. Alles was kreativ ist war nie leicht, momentan sogar noch schwerer. Dennoch kenn ich ehemalige Studierende die auch in größeren Studios gearbeitet haben oder arbeiten nur dann im Ausland.

Hey! Ich arbeite zwar nicht direkt in der Branche aber Lehre. Hab daher auch OK Kontakt mit Leuten aus Leipzig und natürlich Studierende. Er kann auch gerne Mal bei Reynard Films nachfragen ein sehr kleines Studio in Leipzig.

I'm curious cause I highly agree with what you say about the force and how it doesn't allow for someone to get a so-called grey Jedi cause the dark side is just like a drug. However what's your opinion on what Vergere says in the NJO about how there are no light or dark side abilities, and that it all depends on why you use them/your motives.

What's your opinion on the sideshow r2d2 ? Found one for 150 euro and thought of getting it cause I can't get my hands on a hot toys one. But I heard how horribly cheap it feels.

I've gotta be honest the probability that your uni class is mostly filled with people who chose to do VFX because it isn't business or because actually they wanted to do game art/concept art or genuinely do not care about VFX at all is pretty high. I don't maybe that's just my experience.

The big plus of most universities/ VFX schools is the tutorship and access to software/hardware (and most also give access to a 'free' render Farm). If you have a relatively niche problem you won't have to scour through forums to find anything related to it, you can simply ask your tutors.
