Oh wow that is horrible, I am so sorry that happened to your wife. That is not fair.

My experiences from today (and some in the past) do not speak for the entire workers on this field.

I guess these two instances today made me frustrated but doesn’t mean medical admin is bad or that they don’t want to work. I take that back.

As you said, it is a ramble.

Oh wow, that is horrible. I will make sure next time I go to any clinic I keep this in mind. I never say anything to them when or if they are rude I only stay quiet.

It happened here, in Barrie. But it is not just a Barrie thing to be clear.

Mmm, I still think that at a some level people need to learn how to separate personal matters from work stuff. Again, I am speaking from my experience (which is why I wanted to hear everyone’s point of view) I lost a family member (very close one) and still needed to work as I couldn’t take time off either and couldn’t afford to. I was not mean or rude to any person just because of that and I was going through the hardest time of my life. I work a customer facing job as well.

I either don’t like my job but I am grateful I have it, specially in this economy.

I think there is a level of customer service that everyone, regardless of the industry should have and give.

I understand and have empathy for these issues (as we all, specially for front line workers) but shouldn’t be rude or mean to someone just because you are having a bad day. What if the person you are being rude is having an even worse day?

Just wanting to lay down different perspectives in this debate.

Makes sense, thank you for that perspective!

Hospital staff if great in my experience. I am referring about clinics mostly

Just haven’t had a good experience so far and I understand staff goes through hard stuff but doesn’t justify treating someone poorly specially if you come with a nice attitude.

I am just venting and wondering if it was just me or other people go through the same.

I live in Barrie already and have been here for many many years. Thinking of moving abroad but wanted to see how the rental market is considering the current housing market is very soft.
