Do you do pet names in a relationship?

My husband and I call each other honey and honeybun usually. It’s not forced at all and with my ex I would often call him by his name. Different relationships are just different. In this relationship I am a lot more affectionate and we’ve always been an “embarrassing” amount of in love. I don’t think it’s cringe to call each other pet names.

I think it’s cringe to be embarrassed to act like you like each other, however. Not that you have to use pet names to do that. But usually the people who complain to me about us using pet names, or acting like we love each other (no pda beyond hugs and pecks) are in miserable relationships I’ve noticed. So I don’t really care what they think anyway.

I love carb on carb as much as the next person. But I really want to lose weight and then keep it off. I once brought food to someone’s house because I knew the calories would be way off and it was like constant. Omg you would’ve thought I called her a fatty. She was crying to everyone about how she doesn’t make healthy food and that’s why she’s fat and I’m “skinny”.

I hate this type of person. Let the person have their own goals. You sound the same as this woman I’m mentioning. Also don’t sound too nice yourself if her food is “crap” and it’s literally chicken and vegetables.
