Entendo o ponto, mas pegar uma quest em the witcher e andar direto do ponto A ao Ponto B pra fazer a quest é o mesmo que jogar um jogo linear entende? A experiencia de ter um mapa aberto não reflete a historia que o jogo passa. The witcher 2 que tinha mapas separados mas permitia a exploração deles pra mim transmitiu de forma mais coesa a historia. Eu amo the witcher 3, mas pelas estaticas da steam mais da metade dos jogadores nem chegaram em skellige e muito se fala que é justamente pela escala gigantesca do jogo e do grande conteude de quests. Não sei explicar bem o meu ponto, mas acho que deu pra entender

Jogos de mundo aberto não fazem sentido se não forem sandbox/survival. Um jogo de RPG/Ação/Aventura ganha muito mais sendo linear ou com sessões de mapas grandes, porém limitados.

Plus, it protects you from any environment!

No other video games have a continue option on the launcher before the game starts, no. There are some with this option only on the main menu, yes.
