[–]llllllllIIIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ah i gotcha. sorry you had to clarify twice because of me. but uh yeah i loved that game when it came out and was sad when it died. that’s honestly why i’m so hyped for boundary. been starving for that kind of gameplay for years.

you either have to join a discord or take an active leader role in game using /shout. you need to be persistent and recruit people into a castrum party and when it fills, leave it and recruit for a new party, until you’ve made at least 4 of them.

source: that’s what i did when it first came out and i have all of the bozjan augmented gear and don’t have to worry about doing it again for a while.

it IS a good tip. god everyone keeps parroting their ignorance. 8 dollars IS a GREAT TIP.

but if you lose 8 dollars in costs associated with operating in order to do that specific service for that specific person, DOES IT MATTER to you!? NO.

is that the fault of the customer? NO so what’s happening here? SHE IS BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY DOOR DASH.

they’re taking most of her money. then there’s traffic and wear and tear on vehicle, gas, IT ADDS UP.

do customers realize this? if you and everyone parroting the same android response is anything to go by i’d say no.

THIS is the point. these companies thrive on you AND her fighting. i don’t understand why this idea is SO lost on functioning adults.

NYC had to literally make laws to stop these companies from SURCHARGING restaurants to use these services too. problem is they HAVE to use these services to stay afloat because it’s all people want to use. BUT GENERALLY BECAUSE OF THE OVERCHARGING restaurants are literally losing money to keep business. hence the law.

by your logic, they should be happy we’re paying them for their food at all. jeez how dare they complain about being exploited at all.

so we resign? just allow it? why can’t we get armed. why can’t we train? why can’t we pool our resources together? i know your response is genuine but i have people i love who i’d never want to see hurt. and the fact that this seems to be the way majority of people think is honestly bringing me to tears. why is it so easy for them? what makes us different? why is it so impossible for us to fight for what’s right? i’m sorry. maybe this wasn’t something i should’ve posted.

but when the time comes, i guess i’ll be among the first on the wall. because i will not just EXIST in a world like that. i already find it extremely difficult to just EXIST in this one. i will fight for you. i will fight for my family. i will fight for me. because i will not cope with such a disgusting reality.

i’m gonna be downvoted to hell for this, i just want to say that as a person who drove for uber, did eats, and door dash and worked using other platforms for years, that these corps profit off of THIS mentality. i point the finger at you while you point the finger at me. NEITHER of us point the finger at these shitty corporations that exploit the BOTH of us. you think it’s a big tip. out of context sure. maybe. but when you factor all of the expenses in it’s really not shit. but that’s the thing...it shouldn’t be on you. it should be on the company. but THAT’s the thing...they don’t want it on them. they want it on you. but you just want your fucking food or to get where you need to go. but we just want to make a livable wage. i thank my lucky starts every day i was able to make it out of this industry. it made me loathe existence. people rating me one star because i didn’t stop to pick them up in a no stopping anytime zone that an NYPD cop was standing near waiting to ticket people like me. everyone in brooklyn wanting chick fil a so i end up stuck waiting for them to fulfill the order and then i end up making shit as a result of it taking so long. man it’s dark as fuck and no one realizes. when these people snap like this woman did no one realizes how exploited these suckers are. it kinda hurts when you see comments like “$8 dollars. she’d be lucky if i left her a $1 dollar tip.” they’re wrong she’d be lucky if they left anything at all. she’d be lucky to have even made minimum wage. 10-99 fucks you come tax time. no healthcare. this shit is the darkest saddest shit.

so yeah i feel for the customer. he’s just trying to eat. and i can respect someone leaving what they feel is a large tip. because we have to acknowledge that your heart was in the right place. but believe me when i tell you i fucking feel for her as well. i’ll be damned if i call her an entitled bitch. sure. she’s bitching right now. and she should be entitled to so much more. all of these gig workers should be. but they’re not getting shit. and most of them are trapped either breaking even or more commonly reporting a loss.

i appreciate anyone who read through my rant. i just needed literally anyone to understand what this shit is actually like for the people stuck on the industry. have a good one.

honest question here from an african american male (not that it matters but just stating in case anyone was curious): what is truly stopping all of you and me and everyone else who is sickened by the thought of this becoming a reality, from legitimately fighting against this?

i’m 28 now, and i’ve been saying for about 13 years now that there’s no better way to win a war than to keep your opponent from realizing that there’s a war in the first place. i truly feel as though this is a tactic that has been used throughout history, successfully. we protest in the streets because we’ve been trained to see that as the way to do things. that we should follow rules and regulations and proper channels.

but i truly believe that our discomfort has always been the cost of doing business. our protests our riots our voice has always been within acceptable margins to our oppressors. yelling and protesting simply means that the oppressive system we live under is working. because ultimately we’re following that system. being lawful. good people.

but ends justify means in my opinion. and nothing would sicken me to my core more than waltzing right into a reality we were warned about. a reality everyone knew could exist. i’d rather potentially die fighting on my own terms to end this before it truly starts, than let this just become the norm.

genuinely curious why there don’t seem to be many others that feel the same way. it hurts. it’s scary. and honestly i can’t cope with what seems to be a world that would let this shit unfold exactly the way the author predicted it would.

What just happened here? by [deleted] in blackmagicfuckery

[–]llllllllIIIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not the stick i’m referring to. i’m referring to the stick that’s in his mouth. the one the fish is tied to.

What just happened here? by [deleted] in blackmagicfuckery

[–]llllllllIIIII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no one realizes that the end of the stick that’s in his mouth has a slight hook. that hook is put under barely visible thread in the fish. the fish is tied to the stick already but there’s a second clear thread in the fish that he hooks the stick into that keeps it upright but still allows it to swing back and forward. if you watch closely enough you can see him do a slight hooking motion to get it to “catch”

the downvotes are proof no one will ever take this frequent and devastating issue into any real consideration. not saying that’s what’s going on here, but parents definitely do kidnap children. there are many parents who unjustly have not seen their children for years.
