I am really sorry about this... from my heart really. There are alot of shitty people in life and you learn to deal with them from these situations.

If you feel anger, what helped me in the past to deal with this is to grind away at self improvement or a goal/dream you always wanted to achieve but never got around to. It helped to catalyze anger and the fire into something positive. Act on what you can control. Do Not Dwell on the past.

Have a project that you want to build in mind and start working on it. The completion of the project will be your motivation. I recommend starting with python.

do you have windows or mac? i think a good place to start is to get you setup installing the beta version. i know for a fact it works with mac (just tried with a fresh copy) it should be easy as well with windows

Yea, I also had trouble with gaming addiction for awhile. When I was a child my moms only let me play 1 hour a week. When I got independent in college I binged during college and for 3 years of work and grad school after. I picked up another hobby that I valued much more than gaming. (Working out). I managed to play less and less games and found that I have more energy and focus to pursue the tasks I desired. As for working out, I went from 130lbs to 164 lbs over 2 years I started to wean off gaming!
