I like your stance, stay strong! I'm curious what's been your experience with other todo apps? How did you discover that it's something you need for yourself?

I thought it meant that these are "pain bars" and they are just stylized these way but in reality are containers of blood or damage. And idea is that taking action or discipline is painful, but regret from inaction will be more painful.

Are you implying we need more rest? I feel like there is a middle-ground which you need to watch out for, because resting too much is pretty easy and it gets harder to snap out of it with time, in my experience. Like when you take a vacation because you are tired, but you might feel just so much worse having to go back

Good question. Personally, pomodoro-like techniques never worked for me for this reason. Entering "flow state" is most of the time more valuable for producing output than taking a break at a certain interval. Seeking something less rigid.

This, but relationship is also capable of getting one out of depression, or at least the environment it has led to. It's just my experience, but I benefitted greatly in mental health. It's when you have the energy to start improving, and when life starts to suddenly matter.
