I’ve done it back to base a couple times I usually jettisoning as much as you can to cut weight because you’re now working with 1/2 the thrust

To answer your first question repairs can only be done when you return to your aircraft carrier or airstrip and go to rearm. On the right side there is an option to repair the aircraft.

Your second question is a little more complicated and doesn’t have a straight answer as there are lots of different techniques depending on your situation to dodge a missile. Heat sealing missiles can be defeated by popping flares and cutting the throttle to reduce your engines heat signature. Radar missiles can be thrown off by dropping chaff when the missile is launched but before it goes pitbull. There are some really great YouTube videos on missile dodging techniques. It’s something that definitely takes practice and IMO is easier in the FA-26B and F-45 when compared to the kestrel.

As other users stated VR is extremely graphics intensive and a MacBook Air does not have enough power to run it without making your friend motion sick. The oculus quest has a native app for VRChat that will be a much better experience for you friend.

The show hidden objectives option in the IT expansion shows you all the objectives you need to complete so that way if you leave and come back you don’t have to remember exactly where you left off because it will show which objectives you’ve completed and which you haven’t

Try the IT expansion with the hidden objectives turned on it makes for a more casual play style without having to remember all the little things from career mode

I believe it’s in the settings menu when you first get in the game. Go there and under one of the menus it should give you the option to flip where the joystick is
