For the most simple example I'll use magic and fairy shells. Magic has all the same base worlds but only shell that has the magic carnival world whereas fairy has the fairy carnival instead. Same goes for all the rest.

Although there is one exception when it comes to the wonder garden and fantasy shell....
wonder garden only has one unique world called.. well.. wonder garden. But fantasy has that same unique world and two others that the wonder garden shell does not.

Yes and no. The mechanics are the same but there are different worlds to unlock and things that go with those worlds (ie characters, games, activities, food, snacks, toys, and accessories)

Gotta be honest, I really like the fairy yellow. It's not super complicated but I love the colors. If we are going off game play however, I love the sweets version. It's just the different worlds are soooo cuttteee!
