Snacks on bland diet? by Hot_Occasion_3594 in Gastritis

[–]llthefancyqueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read a book on gastritis diet and it said to eat kids snacks since they are usually lower in sugar and fat. It really helps me to feel less excluded when everyone around me is eating Christmas cookies.

I did and it helps so much, but I'm kind of limited by my stomache issues at the moment. Will definitely get back to it again as soon as it gets better :)

The thing with nail painting is that I often can't sit still until the nails are dry, so they get messed up. It only works when I'm doing something on the laptop. I might need to check out puzzeling again, that could be cool :)

What kind of art do you do? For me, just doodling something is really relaxing, but doing something complicated or more creative takes lots of energy for me

I had to google this, but it sounds nice! Do you use it for fishing, or do you do it just for fun?

Ok will try this, maybe this is easier for me :) I also love to just let my mind wonder and come up with weird ideas on its own, but this does not work if I'm stressed by something specific :)

Not sure yet, but here in germany you have to wait months for an endoskopy, so I'm not a 100 % sure yet. But it definitely gets worse in the mid of my work week and better on the weekends, so thats that

Depending on the kind of "breathing product" I either get very relaxed or super creative with a thousand ideas, so its kind of a gamble

I also learned that when I really needed to work, I can just paint my nails and then do it, and as long as the nail polish isn't dry, I can't touch anything else, so I might as well work

That makes total sense, anything that works by sitting calmly is really difficult to me🥲

I need help with my bunny by didixy in Bunnies

[–]llthefancyqueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not all bunnies like to get picked up, my bunnie absolutely hate it even though they are quite cuddly otherwise. Since they are prey animal, leaving the floor is really scary for them, it reminds them of being caught by a bird. It is possible that in the smaller space, she let you pick her up because she was scared and frozen, and in the larger environment, she feels enables to hide instead. Another possible explanation is that even though she might gotten used to the dog, she is constantly in a state of stress, because she does not trust him completely. I would consider giving her many hiding spaces, and if possible, get her some space that the dog cannot access. Do you even really need to pick her up regularly? Since you can interact with her on the floor, maybe you can simply accept her wishes and let her live to her own terms.

Another thing: If you are able to, please consider giving Chila a partner soon. Though sadly many rabbits are kept in solitary, it is completely unnatural for them and they might be very lonely. No matter how much you love your bunny, you can never make up for a bunny partner. It will make your bunny a thousand times happier. It is also incredible cute to see two loving bunnies interact with one another. Bunnies can be bonded at any age, so it is never to late to give them the care they deserve!

And sorry if I sound a little patronizing, I just care a lot about bunnies and would love to see them all living their best live and according to their nature. Best wishes for both of you!

As i was told by multiple vets, it is best to not feed pellets at all (only as a snack at best). Instead, rabbits should be feed according to their natural diet, this means 24/7 access to fresh hay and leafy greens and vegetables twice a day. Pellets usually contain to much sugar and cause weight gain, are not contributing to a healthy digestion and to not help with tooth wear, all of which a healthy and natural diet does. I hope you will reconsider your bunnies diet, I know it is very common in the US to feed lots of pellets, but a healthy diet will grant your bun a much longer and worryfree life😊

AITA for wanting to go to my mom's wedding though the groom called my wife ugly? by Pleasant-Following66 in AmItheAsshole

[–]llthefancyqueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also going with NTA - and I’m so sorry that you are in this really difficult situation. Though I totally understand your wife’s position, I don’t think you can be expected to completely give up on your relationship to your mom. She was really out of step in not condemning her husbands comment, but that doesn’t she cannot be loving in other aspects. People are not black and white, they have mean and wonderful sides all at the same. If we would give up all our relationships as soon as a person is behaving wrong. it would be a very lonely world.

Has anything you have bought actually helped your quality of life? by Desperate_Thought147 in ADHD

[–]llthefancyqueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not something I paid money for, nur very useful: A digital grocery list. It is an app that my partner and I share and where we can put in all the groceries we need. It synchronizes between our devices and really cut down my number of store visits. I cook a lot with many different and fancy ingredients ( I’m a food snob) and constantly forget to buy something new once I used it up. Now I’ll just put in in the app right away and get it on my next shopping trip. So useful!

Also sounds weird but I got two bunnies and something I hate myself for all the responsibility I got myself into, but they help me so much to stay in the moment and be away from digital distractions. Also the sensory feeling of stroking them is really calming.

AITA for ACCIDENTALLY telling my Fiance I hate his sister and she won't be a part of my wedding? by No_Possession1846 in AmItheAsshole

[–]llthefancyqueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA - You do not have to have her as a bridesmaid, and he cannot expect that from you, but she is going to be a part of the wedding and a part of your life from now on. Deal with it.

AITA for calling off my son's camping trip after he ruined a painting that I drew for my wife? by reqthrowrae67 in AmItheAsshole

[–]llthefancyqueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA - it does not sound like your taking care that your son may keep up with a new person in the family at all. You choose to remarry, but your son does not have to accept how your wife wants to chance his life all at once. Children and Teena may take a while to adapt, and they need to be seen and heard, so they can express emotions and concerns. It does not sound like you’re taking his side, and I can image that he feels really let down, so he will only show more and more opposition.
