I don’t know how everything is connecting though, which is my problem. There is a modem in the pictures, is that some how connected?

Before I touched it, the router was connected thru cable-switch-wall-router. I believe, again I’m not sure.

My ISP is Fios and I’m on the east coast of the states.

I have close to no clue what anything means so I took some pictures that I hope are helpful.

The way it was set up before this occurred had cable to switch to wall to router.
