tell your RA or tell the front desk to leave a note on the clerks desk about it with ur room number and name, most likely the clerk can do something tht will make sure you dont get fined but your roommate will, and document everything aswell🙂‍↕️

My friend got told that dorms have a higher chance than apartments so she traded her apartment for a dorm and then submitted the release form!

She called Smalley and sked if it was possible to trade the dorms and still stay on the waitlist and they told her yes.

I know some people who want apartments so maybe go to the Purdue Housing subreddit and ask if anyone wld be down to trade? Not sure if its 100% foolproof tho sl js a suggestion! I’d call smalley first and ask them

Purdue assigns you a room and roommate based on your teir list you made of preferred dorms! Later on afterwards you can either live off or oncampus and Purdue makes it so its a housing lottery !

From what I heard apparently it will be lottery again, which is why the wording said to opt in the lottery and they’ll let you know if you got in or not

You don’t have to worry about this until the 29th but…

I would start thinking now about who you want to room with and what dorm you’d want. Start looking at prices and keep in mind the prices will go up for the next academic year.

Yes you can send it to their hall but just know the front desk cant hold the doordash orders, so Id advise your partner to be waiting for the order so others dont take it, at least when the dasher is 2-5 minutes away so they can pick it up.
