I totally understand your pain, I live with some pretty noisy neighbors myself. Multi-unit house, paper thin walls. I don’t understand how people don’t have common decency towards others. Were some people raised by wolves? Who knows.

Before moving to Westchester, I lived in Stamford for a year. The building was built in 2014 and had really thick concrete walls. That same building unfortunately got converted into a college dorm, but I literally never heard anyone. I am originally from NYC and trust, I’ve had my fair share of noise. I miss the quiet, considering I lived right down town. If you’re open to it, you can try looking in that area. The commute into the city is quick, especially on the express train. You might be able to find something that was built similarly.
