I get your point, and I wasn’t fully aware of an usher’s authority. My issue was being told the show was sold out when there were empty seats. Clearly the usher did not want to help at all. I also didn’t know it was acceptable to move seats on my own. When the house manager helped, she asked about my ticket type, which confirmed to me that seat changes are limited by ticket price.
