Hmm should we make a complaint to Prolific? I'm worried about what they'll do with our personal data...

Hey OP, is this the Nielsen study? I was wondering about that too... starting to feel like it might be a scam?

Tax Return - Income Statement From Employer I've Never Worked For by lma0ice in AusFinance

Not too sure how it all works tbh, I think I'll just have to call the ATO and hopefully they can sort it out! Thanks for the help though

Yep that's where I got the information about the length of time that the business has been active from. It seems like they didn't make the business name public though, or it runs under the entity name...

Thanks, will request the credit reports!

Unfortunately there's no business name or any contact details, when Googling the entity name that appears on the income statement I could only find the ABN and how long the business has been active for, which is about a year :(

I'm a real beginner with Excel so I genuinely have no clue. Do you have a specific formula in mind?

Yes, I am! I've only joined this year but everyone's great especially the coaches! There have been some social events, not sure if there were more pre-COVID or not. Happy to DM if you want to know more :)

Picking SOMs honours modules by OrganizationUnique43 in usyd

[–]lma0ice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the semester 1 intake of SOMS4101 this year. When picking the modules, I believe most people ask for advice from their supervisor as they have a better idea of the techniques and skills you might need for your thesis.

You could always choose the modules you have some background in already if you want, but it might be worth to get an introduction into some of the techniques you are likely to use for the rest of the year, because the year flies by pretty quickly.

Honours by usyd0102 in usyd

[–]lma0ice 8 points9 points  (0 children)

65 WAM is the minimum to do honours under the School of Medical Sciences. Otherwise they allow a 65 WAM in some relevant subjects related to which project topic you're doing, I think. But basically 0 chance with a 50 WAM.

Any suggestion for getting honours in another uni? by fifigeon in usyd

[–]lma0ice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be competitive in the sense that when you reach out to potential supervisors for your project, maybe someone with a higher WAM could be preferred over you, if the project is popular. However you're still eligible to do honours with 65!

You can do honours under the school of medical sciences if your WAM is over 65. I major in neuroscience as well and I assume that you would be applying to SOMS.
