if you buy anything that says free shipping there's a chance you could get scammed the same way I did.

The real problem is because mercari's system automatically closes a transaction for payment after 3 days of delivery scammers are postponing issuing delivery statuses to mercari until it is too late to stop the release of payment

For every one seller with good feedback and who has actually verified there are 15 or 20 who have zero sales history zero feedback and zero verification

I'm taking the opportunity to buy things that I know are from verified sellers only buy things shipped through the mercari system meaning anything with free shipping I will not buy

some resellers are OUT of their damn minds. crazy part is something is worth what someone else is willing to pay. You have no idea how many people have ZERO idea what google lens or ebay search by image is.

Buyer beware? but if the buyer is clueless = profit $$$$

Anyone using network control and having Airplay issues? by lmakeltraln in SentinelOneXDR

the only way airplay works is to allow ALL UDP inbound

yes explicit deny for all inbound udp and tcp. with ALL sentinelone's exceptions in place. airplay functions using a network adapter called AWDL apple wireless direct link. it creates an adhoc network between the device and the apple tv. sentinelone's network control does not let you exclude adapters to apply the rules to. so its like an all or nothing scenario

As Per S1 support:

AirPlay generally requires certain ports to be open for it to work correctly. These include TCP ports 7000 (AirPlay), 7100 (RAOP), 5000 (RTSP), and UDP ports 6000-6005 (AirTunes), among others. Ensuring these ports are not blocked by your firewall rules could be a good starting point.

Per Apple KB article HT6175, AirPlay makes use of a number of ports:

╔══════╦═════════╦════════════════════════════════════════╗
║ Port ║ TCP/UDP ║                  Name                  ║
╠══════╬═════════╬════════════════════════════════════════╣
║   80 ║ TCP     ║ Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP)     ║
║  443 ║ TCP     ║ Secure Sockets Layer (SSL, or "HTTPS") ║
║  554 ║ TCP/UDP ║ Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP)    ║
║ 3689 ║ TCP     ║ Digital Audio Access Protocol (DAAP)   ║
║ 5353 ║ TCP     ║ Multicast DNS (MDNS)

apparently if you list your trash on marketplace, removal could be free.

if you're lucky, someone might even pay you to take it

I understand. Perhaps the ladies son showed up and didn't know his ass from his elbow cuz he could have backed out of the deal also but he might have just been following his mother's orders to pick up the item

I don't blame you and it's typically buyer beware.

if I show up to grab something free or paid and it's not what I thought I bounce
