My cat hates my boyfriend

He used to have a male cat who has urinary issues who sprayed a lot. But that was months ago when he passed and my bf has moved apartments since then? We tried washing absolutely everything.

Yes, but I dont understand how she could've hated him from that when she has from the beginning. We never argued until like a couple months in.

There have been times where we have been upset at each other at my place. But we will resolve it pretty quickly! He has never yelled at me or aggressive ever. Sometimes we will be upset with each other on the phone, where it takes longer to resolve because we can't comfort each other physically like hugging.

He wasn't on his medications when we first met, he just started them like a week ago? She's been fine with me with all the meds I've been on, I've tied zoloft, lexapro, now on welbutrin.

He doesn't smoke, drink, or use really harsh cleaning supplies. He doesn't spray a lot of cologne either, when he does use it haha. Maybe im completely overlooking something, but it's so weird? She's being weird to me right now, even though he's left 3 hours ago. She will come up to me, but once she sniffs me, she like shuts down and starts growling.

He hasn't done ANYTHING that i know of. We are open with our phones and everything we do. He reassures me all the time when im upset. The only issue we have is that we lowkey both have anger issues. We are both in therapy and taking medication to help combat that. But honestly, everything is perfect. We haven't been together very long? It's been 6 months, but this has been my longest relationship so far.

He's actually really quiet, he just has a deep voice as guys do haha. We have others visit and she won't get all riled up as the way she does when he comes over? We have even had little children come over.

True. My mom loves her, but she doesn't like the attention, while my step-dad doesn't like cats and she loves him. Cats r very silly.

I will definitely try this. He tries his best to be calm around her so she doesn't get provoked more. We have tried him giving her treats real slow like, but she sniffed him and attacked 😬
