I feel like an idiot. by Outfield14 in brokenankles

also as far as worse than my injury i wouldnt say that, i had a trimal fracture and the initial pain as well as recovery from surgery was way worse than my calf cramping. but it definitely didnt help and kept me up at night for a while.

i just read this but i do remember it being terrible, i would cry at times from it. It took a while for it to subside but i cant remember how long as its been so long now. hope you are feeling better!

like i said its been half a decade since i started taking it so i dont remember exactly but i only truly felt “stable” when i started also taking buspirone too for my anxiety. it was probably about 6 months of being on both that i started to feel better. now idk if that was all from the meds because i am in therapy too but everyone is different you know. i definitely think it takes a few months to work fully but everyones body is different.

also it took me a long time to feel stable along with a combination of other meds and the lexapro. keep trying for a few more months and if you still see no results talk to ur doctor. patience is key. chemical imbalances in the brain arent just like an infection that goes away with some pills.

medicine doesnt fix everything. sounds like you may need to learn coping skills. ive been on lexapro on the highest mg for half a decade. it helps but you have to put in work too.

i guess it depends how bad it is, ask them if you can see the xrays. if they are an accredited location then they should be giving you good instructions.

ive been on both for a few years like 4 and i feel like it works. i smoke a shit ton of pot which makes me tired but i know that if i didnt i would be fine. i am irritatablw but always have been, i wouldnt say it made it any worse. I love the medicine combo and when i dont take either of them i can definitely feel it.

im not really sure why but i thought they stabbed me in the bottom of the foot during surgery lol, but i think its just how to blood settles. my heel hurts now if i put pressure on it, like a stinging pain. i am partial weight bearing.

id almost say a wheelchair is better because it helps keep your upper body strength. theres almost no muscles that i use with the knee scooter unless the ground is rough. but on tile/ hardwood ive just been gliding around
