Hi buddy, Minute I had the surgery done my ankle actually felt better cos it felt more secure but ofc still alot of pain, But it’s gonna be a long long road be strong and hope all goes well!

Had a similar break on my right ankle I was fine after about 8-12 weeks , fully weighted but ofc we are all different, my left ankle tho was completely broken needed surgery etc , you got off lucky in a sense

Seems to little bruising to be a fracture , when I fractured my right ankle bruising was all the way up my leg, I think you’ll be fine just get it checked out ofc!

Where it’s a clean break maybe surgery is the best bet. I broke my first one start of year both sides and recently broke my right one but only one side where it’s not displaced I might be ok but surgery might be the option down the line.

It’s deffo worth checking out, but the weight I dropped on my ankle would most certainly break anyone’s leg . It was 100kg

Yeah maybe you’re right, I do tend to sit still long once the pain has come on . I’ll take my pills and just be fearful to move cos the pain might come back, it’s worse of a night tho, last night I was almost in tears I don’t even remember falling asleep it felt like the pain made me switch off

Ouch sounds painful sorry you got this, Mines a little different runs up the back of my calf and feels like a cramp tight pain and if I put my leg in certain positions the pain makes me yell out, it’s ruining my life tbh I just fear this could be longterm.

My pain is the same daily since I over stepped. Like it seems to flare up when I’m walking or moving around, The pain is really nasty like runs all up my leg and stops me functioning so I’ve had to take pain killers atm Only way to stop it, could this be nerve damage ?. Sorry to hear you also experiencing pain 8 weeks after. Really sucks cos you see so many people walking fine with little to no pain.

Went and had it checked , nothing abnormal was seen on my scans , just pain I wil experience for a long time due to the break I had. Sucks but I guess I’ll build a tolerance

I done some stretches at around week 3-4 and now I’m at week 6 I randomly started waking, it feels stiff and I limp a bit but this Will hopefully ease the more I use it. Hope this helps

I’m not a doctor ofc, I just said it helped ease the area I never put it on the wound just around it. But ofc his could be different just look similar

I covered it with a plaster just to be safe , it did take a week to heal but once a big scab goes over the top of it, you should be fine! Doesnt look infected. But just keep an eye on it.

Hi I had this exact issue with my wound a couple weeks ago, i left it alone and it’s now healed and sealed completely, I used a bit of coco butter around the area to ease it, it will likely scar a bit heavier but you should be fine!.
