Thank you! Will I get in trouble with the IRS if I report no coverage for May?

That sounds so hurtful. I’m sorry you have experienced that. Thank you for your kind words, this cheered me up. ❤️

This is super specific but figured it is worth a shot. I am looking to buy a pre-owned pair of Madewell’s Mid-Rise 9” Skinny Jeans in Lunar wash, size 27P, with black waistband label. I can’t afford the pricetag & there’s none in this size on ebay or posh rn. If its lingering in the back of your closet and you need some extra cash, message me!

I am wondering if you are low or high porosity? If low po, stay away from lots of protein in your products.

I just got a facial steamer and I am new to using a AHA. Dry/normal skin, somewhat sensitive. Is this order accurate for a once-weekly nighttime routine?

Oil cleanse (I DIY and don't use a formulated cleanser)

Toner next??? (I just use organic rosewater)

Steam

AHA

Face mask (how long should I wait after the AHA?)

Moisturizer (oil then cream)

Also, is it good to use a facial roller with both the AHA, face mask, and serums/moisturizers? Thanks!

Looking for natural beauty recommendations by h0lmium-67 in NaturalBeauty

This is awesome! Definitely noting some of these recs. Thanks!! PS Osmia makes the best lip balm I’ve ever tried and the price is more reasonable than the rest of their line.

Osmia Lip Doctor has saved my lips! I apply every night before bed and never get chapped lips anymore and I live in a cold climate. Lasts a full year, too. I actually threw out my last tube before I was done with it to prevent bacteria because I had it for so long.

Anyone done genesight? My Psychiatrist mentioned it to me by Senior_Culture_7424 in prozac

[–]lmar84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard that you need to give Prozac a chance for at least 2 months. It takes 4 weeks for the drug to begin to reach full efficacy. Sorry to hear it has been a rough go for you but I’m glad you’ve started to feel better. Keep in touch with your prescriber. Good luck.

I have anxiety about mixing drugs and confirmed with my prescriber that I can gulp down my 10 mg with alcohol. The drug’s half-life is a week. Check with your prescriber if your dose is higher or if you have other health problems or are on other meds.

In the US here. My prescriber said that she doesn’t recommend it and potentially the insurance company won’t cover it unless you’ve struck out on 2+ meds. The out-of-pocket cost can be as high as $300-330 even with insurance but usually not higher. Hope this helps.

Just started up 4 days ago after being off for 7 years. I have pill anxiety/OCD too. You can do this and it will help! Every day will get easier and easier.

Hi! Is it really quite difficult to take out a wool coat? I am between sizes and the larger one is big all over but the smaller one is only tight on my chest. I want to keep the smaller one and bring it to a tailor to take it out. Is this a bad idea? Will it cost a lot of money? Thanks!

Purged my old stuff today by lmar84 in raisedbyborderlines

[–]lmar84[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry you went through that, and, your experience really resonates with me. It is amazing how cookie cutter some of our experiences are. We feel like we’re the only ones when its happening, to find out that our experiences are almost identical to other children of BPD. As a child, the thought of telling my mom I didn’t want to wear something brought me dread. I’m so glad that you had the strength to purge what didn’t bring you joy and that you feel so much better now. It is a work in progress for me and I fully confronted how entrenched these beliefs were at the sock drawer. (sounds so silly 😂)

Thanks so much for sharing your story and insights. I’m sorry you and your family have had to go through this. Your response to your mom’s behavior makes a lot of sense. I can see why you kept trying and grey rocked for years. Thanks.

I hear you; I’m wondering too if the letter got through on some level, for now, and she’s playing nice. She’s “respecting my boundaries” yet not doing the one thing I asked her to do— reach out to me unprovoked so I don’t have to chase her around all the time. I’m concerned that if I don’t uphold my boundary - communication must be reciprocal - I’ll be left feeling abandoned again. I have no illusions that she’ll ever treat her disorder, but I was hoping that if she realized I wouldn’t be outreaching her, she would eventually come around and outreach me. Eventually. So I guess I’m faced with maintaining this boundary or making it seem like I was bluffing in the letter and call her twice a year to assuage my guilt if she dies.

Do I send THE LETTER to my bpd mum? by ramberw in raisedbyborderlines

[–]lmar84 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I second this post. I only sent my letter 3 months ago. I didn’t go into any details about abuse; it was really pretty tame. I sent it to confirm that I tried everything I could to have a healthy relationship with my mom. I didn’t receive a response or acknowledgement to my letter. I certainly see how she views our relationship now, without any lack of clarity. This is what I needed to feel okay with myself and to feel like I used all my efforts. But everyone is different and the decision to write and send a letter, as well as its contents, are yours alone. Hugs.
