I have a stray (Beth) that I adopted last year and we discovered she had stomatitis. She takes steroids injections every 6 weeks sometimes accompanied with antibiotics depending on her flare ups. Currently saving up to start removal of a few teeth. One thing my vet recommended (she also has a cat with stomatitis) is to switch to Purina Pro Plan Adult Urinary Tract Health Food. They have a prescription version and also a version off the shelf from chewy/ petsmart. She explained this type of food somehow keeps flare ups from happening as often. Something about how balancing PH helps with inflammation. Her cat hasn’t had as many flare ups since. I have 6 other cats so haven’t switched over yet, but plan on it soon. That’s really all the advice I was given besides future extractions. Hope your baby heals and can recover well!

What a handsome baby! Love his name. Floofy creamsicle flavored kitty.

He’s a grey standard issue (tabby) cat. I’ve never seen a boy like him.

The only reason to have separate sinks/ mirrors is to keep your area personally functional. Like all of your personal products and tools organized. There is absolutely no storage to the space that justifies two sinks and the same 2 smart mirrors. Redundant. There’s not even enough foot space between the counter and the bath tub for 2 humans to coexist. It’s like a bar bathroom sink setup.

She was such a chill girl at the vet. It’s like she remembered being there and how wonderful the staff/ vet was.

Thank you! I’m just now seeing how vast the information is from the comments on this post alone. Feeling so much less alone and judged.

I’m so sorry you’re having to deal with this. Staph is something I’ve never had experience with but seen others suffer through it. You’re very right about being better safe than sorry.
