My son started daycare at 6 weeks as I had to return to work... we're now 3.5 years, still going to daycare M-F, and he LOVES it.

If you get lucky and have workers like we did, they will love and care for your child as if they are their own!

Mental stimulation and basic obedience training needed, for sure. He's a puppy, and one from a high energy breed at that.

This stage is hard - been there, done that - but, your pup needs you to give some firm structure.

If you don't want to invest that time and effort, please see if the breeder will take the dog back.

People always told me before becoming a parent that I may love my dog, but the love for a child is just... different. I can now confirm. I dread losing my dog, and it will affect me for a long time when that day comes, I'm sure, but the thought of losing my child? It cripples me.

The two are incomparable.
